Proceeds from all sales go to the Booster Club, to support OPRF Arts, Athletics, Activities & Academics.
The Booster Club would like to congratulate Leigh Maliff as the winner of the Annual Logo Contest.
Her paw which was designed with a little grit is called “Dirty Paw.” As Leigh says, “I drew the paw in a muddy, dirty way to show the fierceness of our school; to show that we are a hardworking school that’s not afraid to get our hands dirty.” Leigh attended Mann School and then Julian Middle School in Oak Park and is currently a junior at OPRF. While in high school, she took graphic design as a freshman with Ms. White and has continued with Ms. Novotny into her third year. In addition to her love for graphic design, Leigh is in the marching band in the color guard and works with kids through the Park District. Feeling more comfortable doing art on the computer than with a physical paintbrush, she has done freelance work creating logos and custom shirt designs. In the future, she hopes to continue her love of graphic design working with a company like Disney or Pixar. Congratulations to Leigh again for such a wonderful contribution and for continuing the tradition of “those things that are best.”
